Two days need not become a checklist. Use this suggested rhythm as a starting point, then adapt it to your hotel, mobility and the weather.
Friday: arrive without another appointment.
Leave your first evening uncomplicated. Check in, settle into the room and ask the hotel about dining arrangements. If the journey has been long, let dinner be the final plan. A calm arrival is often more useful than squeezing in one more activity.
Saturday morning: follow your curiosity.
Start with breakfast and a walk that suits your pace. Along the river, the changing façades give the town its visual character. Look up, stop when something catches your eye and allow time to return by a comfortable route. Choose footwear and layers for the conditions on the day.
Saturday afternoon: make room for the hotel.
If spa time is part of your stay, confirm access and treatment reservations ahead of time. Do not assume every treatment is included with a room. Alternatively, find a quiet place to read or plan a short excursion with the hotel’s advice. The afternoon does not need to justify itself by being busy.
Saturday evening: keep the choice open.
Grandhotel Pupp publishes its own casino offering; a stay at Savoy Westend does not put that casino inside your hotel. If you choose to visit, check the venue’s current entry requirements, decide your limits first and plan the return journey. Dinner and an early night are equally complete plans.
Sunday: leave a little margin.
Pack before heading out and confirm checkout and onward transport. Allow a buffer rather than scheduling the last possible departure. This is a suggested itinerary, not a package: access, opening times and services must be checked for your dates.
